– OFFICIAL RULES –

The World Cup Pro Am Series is a global celebration of excellence in Pro Am dancing, embracing all major competitive and showcase styles.
This international series brings together dancers and organisers who share a passion for quality, fairness, and recognition.
These rules ensure consistency and transparency across all official series events.

POINT MULTIPLIERS
To reward participation at high-quality events, the World Cup Pro Am Series applies points multipliers based on two factors:

Number of participating dancers
Number of official adjudicators

Participating Dancers Multiplier
Points earned at each event will be multiplied according to the total number of dancers competing:

100 dancers: +10% bonus points
200 dancers: +20% bonus points
400 dancers or more: +30% bonus points

Number of Adjudicators Multiplier
Points will also be adjusted based on the size of the official judging panel:

5 adjudicators: –10% fewer points
9 adjudicators: +10% bonus points
11 adjudicators: +20% bonus points
13 adjudicators or more: +30% bonus points

Combined Multipliers
If both conditions apply, the multipliers are combined. For example, if an event has 200 dancers (+20%) and 11 adjudicators (+20%), the total points earned will be increased by 40%.

ROUNDING RULE
All points totals shall be rounded to the nearest whole number. Decimal values .0 to .4 are rounded down, and .5 to .9 are rounded up. For example, 19.2 becomes 19, while 19.6 becomes 20.

PURPOSE
This system encourages events to maintain high standards and attract strong participation, ensuring fairness and rewarding dancers and teachers for competing at the events in the Series.

The World Cup Pro Am Series rankings are determined based on the accumulation of points earned through participation in Series events. Rankings will be updated regularly and will be publicly available on the official World Cup Pro Am Series mobile application and website.
